Editorial controls
AI output is not treated as a source. Claims, figures, names, quotations and links must be checked against the underlying records. Articles are rejected when new unsupported facts appear or sources conflict without explanation.
AI narration
Reports with an available audio recording use AI narration as the default listening experience. Playback starts only when the reader chooses to listen. The audio is generated on a Global Tech Live workstation from the published text, not from a rewritten report, using a licensed preset synthetic voice. It is labelled as AI-generated and does not impersonate a real reporter. Audio may mispronounce names or numbers. Changing the default does not mean that every recording has completed human pronunciation review; the written article remains the authoritative version.
Audio is linked to the exact article text and update date. Changed or corrected reports do not reuse stale audio. If a current recording is unavailable or cannot be played, we show an availability message or offer retry, rather than switching to a different voice. We do not upload readers' microphone recordings or clone their voices for this feature. Older installed App versions may retain their previous listening controls until updated.

Lily is an original virtual technology reporter used in GTL Explains, Tech in 60 Seconds, Global Tech Live News, selected AI and consumer technology explainers, social video and the 404 page. Lily does not correspond to, imitate or represent any real person and is not presented as a licensed real-world journalist.
